The Diamond Hawaii is a hybird between "Maui Hawaii Resorts" and "Maui Hawaii Condos". It is located on a hillside 300 ft. above the beautiful Wailea Resort Area.

With only 72 units, it has the feel of a boutique hotel, but also includes such amenities you would expect at a big Maui Hawaii resort like restaurants and a full-service spa. On the other hand, each unit is a roomy 900 sq. ft. and comes with a kitchenette so it also feels like a condominium.

A unique feature of the suites are their toilets...they are called "washlette toilets" where a stream of water shoots up and washes you. They are almost standard in most Japanese homes, and are gaining in popularity in Hawaii and parts of the mainland U.S...my mom actually has one so I'm used to it...now.

Their Diamond Spa is also unique in that it offers a Hydro Therapy System, a Japanese style furo or "spa bathing". Basically, it is a BIG bath (pictured below). After showering at the individual washing stalls that surround the furo, you enter the hot furo, and relax & unwind. There are seperate furos for men and women.
