In fact, next to Oahu, Maui has the most choices of places to stay. The island is dotted with world-class resort areas that sit on some of the best beaches on the planet. Within these resort areas are many different types of accommodations: Maui Hawaii Resorts, Maui Discount Hotels, Maui Luxury Vacation Rentals, and Condo Rentals in Maui, among others. Rates vary tremendously based on a property's proximity to the ocean and the rooms' view. Properties closer to the ocean tend to cost more. Likewise, Garden or mountain view rooms are going to be much cheaper than ocean view rooms. There is also a difference between partial and full ocean views. It usually runs anywhere from $10-$25/day. It includes such things as complimentary breakfast (kind of contradictory to charge for complimentary breakfast isn't it?), internet access, gym use, parking, etc. You can't decline this fee, so just be aware of it.

It has a more secluded feel to it than the other major resort areas...and arguably the most high-end accommodations too.
