Big Island Beaches -- Ahalanui Beach Park

Ahalanui Beach Park is my favorite POOl in Hawaii...Aren’t we talking about Big Island beaches? Did I say pool? Well, this pool has ocean water and is volcanically heated to almost 95 degrees! Hey…a jacuzzi with no chlorine!

The walls of this pool are man-made with an inlet separating it part way from the ocean. It is always calm and thus perfect for swimming...or snorkeling. Yes, there are fish in here.

This is just one of those places that is too cool to pass up...only it's not cool...it's warm!
