Cheap Hawaiian Restaurants -- Kakaako Kitchen
This is one of two Hawaiian restaurants opened by chef Russsel Siu. 3660 on the Rise is one of Oahu's most popular upscale restaurants.
His other eatery, Kaka'ako Kitchen (pictured below), serves what I call "gourmet" plate lunches, salads, and sandwiches. They cost a little more than your typical plate lunch, but I think they are well worth it.
Here is a Hamburger Steak plate lunch with crispy onions...Hamburger patties topped with brown gravy and onions, served with macaroni salad (or Waimanalo greens) and rice. Yum!
Here is Sauteed Mahimahi with lomilomi tomato butter sauce served with brown rice and Waimanalo greens...Double Yum!

You will need Adobe Reader (the latest version is recommended) installed on your computer in order to open the menu. You can get Adobe Reader here (a new window will open so you can download it without leaving this page).
If you want to open the menu in your browser window, just click on the menu. However, if you want to download the menu to view later, then right-click on the map and choose "Save Target As" or "Save File As." Then select where you want to save the file on your hard drive.
Once you have saved the menu, locate where you saved it, and double click to open.
In order to print, open the downloaded file, and select the "Print" option.
Kaka'ako kitchen is located in Ward Centre about a ten minute drive from Waikiki.
